The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Yesterday I went out with my friends to see a movie. We chose “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” and it was an excellent choice. I loved it from the very first minute till the last second, even if I’m not a big fan of the ending. I wish it was different. But the story is great and also the plot. The mystery of a murder that happened 40 years ago is about to be discovered by Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander.

The characters are so well written and the actors…well…they do an amazing job. Lisbeth is a 23 year old troubled girl under the guardianship of the Government. A punk tattooed and pierced young woman who has a brilliant mind.You just can’t love her. Despite of her appearances she has a beautiful soul who seeks for a friend, a friend that her father would approve. I think she kind of felt in love with her co-worker, but in the end all she gets is disappointment. And this is why I don’t like how the movie ends. But I’ve heard there are 2 more books so maybe there will be 2 more movies to see.

Anyway…the almost 3 hours spent in the cinema were not a waste. All the things that I felt – sadness, fear, the power of the revenge, pity, joy – they all made me love this movie and I hope it is going to win many Oscar prizes.
